We serve our clients through the development of a Risk & Hazard Profile™ that assists your organization with identifying the range of realistic threats and hazards it faces and then implementing a decision-making process to determine which of those risks require attention in your emergency management plan; the continuity of operations plan; and department-level prevention, mitigation, and/or response strategies. Without such a process, our clients face the daunting task of giving equal attention to all perceived and real hazards. Our process recognizes the range between high impact/low probability and low impact/high probability risks and hazards.

Emergency/Crisis Plan Review Development

We will conduct an objective review of your emergency plans and associated annexes against local, state, federal, and/or industry-specific contemporary standards. At the conclusion of our review, we will identify any deficiencies and provide a roadmap to move forward. We also have extensive experience developing industry-specific plans and can work with you to meet your needs.

Hazard, Vulnerability and Impact Assessment (HVIA)

A critical component to emergency planning is to identify natural, technological, and human-caused hazards and determine organizational impact should the event in question occur. Understanding the risk associated with each hazard allows you to plan, prepare, and allocate resources appropriately. 

Business Continuity/Continuity of Operations Plans

Proactive business continuity plans are necessary to avoid and mitigate risks associated with a disruption of operations. We help our clients develop detailed steps to be taken before, during, and after an event to maintain the financial viability of an organization. We also help our clients develop reactive disaster recovery plans for responding after an event.

Exercise Design and Facilitation

From facilitated discussion Table Top Exercises (TTX) to full-scale disaster exercises, our team will develop and facilitate customized scenarios to test our clients’ plans, preparedness, and resiliency. Just as important, we facilitate post-exercise lessons learned discussion and develop a comprehensive After Action Report (AAR).

Active Shooter/Threat Training

For public, private, and governmental agencies and schools, we provide options-based response training for everyone in your organization from executives, to staff, to students. All of our programs are customized and led by highly qualified instructors.

Crisis Communications Plans and Training

A critical element to organizational preparedness is the ability to communicate timely, accurate, and useful information to a variety of audiences. This includes your employees, visitors, families, local authorities, and neighboring communities to ensure safety, security, and business continuity. Our team will work with you to understand your organization’s demographic, key stakeholders, and partners to design a customized communication plan. We also offer a variety of training opportunities to prepare those responsible for internal and external communication.

Executive/Leadership Training

During an emergency or crisis, senior leadership must serve a number of roles to ensure the protection of people, property, and continuity of operations. Our trainers will provide training for your leadership team ranging from the foundation of planning, preparedness, and response to advanced incident command systems. We work at your pace to build knowledge of emergency management principles that prepare participants to lead the organization during a real-world emergency in a low stress, no-fault environment.
